How to get to Como?
Our conference this year is being held at the Hilton Lake Como, just outside of Como, Italy.

There are several gateways to reach Como, the closest being Milano Malpensa Airport (MXP), which is located 50 km away, however also Milan Linate Airport (LIN) is also only 56 Km away and while Bergamo Airport (BGY) is 80 Km from Como. A good provider to pre-book your transfer is Milan Airport Transfers.
From Milano
Malpensa (MXP) Airport
- By Taxi, Uber and other providers: approx. 40-50 mins by car. A good provider to pre-book your transfer is Milan Airport Transfers.
- By Train: With the Malpensa Express, changing in Saronno station., approximately 90 mins to Como Train Station.
From Milano
Linate (LIN) Airport
- By Taxi, Uber and other providers: approx. 50 mins by car. A good provider to pre-book your transfer is Milan Airport Transfers.
- By Train: Via Milan Central Station in approx. 90 mins.
From Como, Italy
Train Station
Como San Giovanni station is at the main train route between Zürich and Milan, connected to the European rail network with several international and national trains.
- By taxi 5-10 minutes depending on traffic in the town.
- By foot with light luggage, approx. 20 minutes
From Chiasso, Switzerland,
Train Station
The trains from Switzerland to Milan, also stop in Como San Giovanni, we recommend members to get off there. However in case you exit in Chiasso, it is the Swiss border city to Como and Taxi’s do drop offs in Como from there.
- By taxi – approx. 15 mins
We assume that quite some members might combine the conference with other visits in Europe and opt for a rental car.
However, please inform us about your travel details, we might be able to arrange sharing of rides as some members arrive with the same flights. Closer to the conference date.
