Dear members, guests and friends,
we live in truly exceptional times.
As our world and lives are being rocked by disruptions following the global spread of the novel corona virus, the uncertainties for the future remain plenty and the world as we know it might change significantly over the coming months.
However, transportation, shipping and logistics remain an essential part of global trade and the backbone of mankind’s prosperity since centuries. Our industry will no doubt see changes and challenges from the outbreak, accelerating the need to reinvent ourselves and the way we are doing business.
Even if we have to rely on digital means these days, as we are thrown into isolation and remote working, bringing people together, sharing ideas and strengthening relationships with the right partners, remains essential to overcome any challenge.
The pandemic at this point feels far from over and will still be a part of life for the time to come. While some members will not be able to attend the conference physically, due to lockdowns or travel restrictions and some out of fear or health concerns might choose not to travel, we have decided to hold the event.
Together with the venues, we have established a health and safety concept, that is compliant with Portugal Tourism’s Clean & Safe measures, to protect our delegates.
It will be a different conference this year, with a smaller crowd than usual and with more distance, however still real and personal, giving those that can make the trip, the opportunity to interact and spend a great time together in beautiful Porto.
Members that can not travel, will be participating in the event virtually, with access to live presentations, Q&A tools and One2One meetings.
In case of any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Looking forward to see you soon in Porto,
