Graduated from the University of Liverpool before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte. Over 20 years’ experience in the logistics sector mainly in the areas of investments, mergers and acquisitions.
One of the founders and investors in Forwarding Digital. Holds various director and non-executive director roles in the logistics sector, primarily in the areas of finance, investment and business strategy.
Forwarding Digital is the next generation freight forwarding and integrated customs software product. It is a web-based, SaaS platform with minimal setup and no IT infrastructure requirements. API driven interface, which integrates with, but not limited to, real-time tracking, WebCargoNet, ChatGPT and Lune CO2 reporting. The software includes a fully bespoke customer access portal, which guides them all the way from PO management through to live tracking and delivery. We pride ourselves on our responsive technical support and ongoing development.

Ruben grew up in the trucking and warehousing business in Germany and held various management and executive roles in leading shipping lines, NVOCCs and intermodal operators across Europe, China and the Middle East. Today he is consulting on strategy, digitalisation, internationalisation and logistics.
He has a freight forwarding education, holds a German degree in business economics and an MBA from Aston University.

Alfred has extensive experience in container transportation, port developments, logistics planning, IT applications, human resources and cold-chain management throughout his affiliation with the shipping industry for the past 3 decades. Currently, he is a council member serving both The Japan Society of Hong Kong and The Japan Hong Kong Society in Tokyo. Alfred is appointed as Adjunct Professor to University of Yunnan, and Adjunct Professor of the City University of Hong Kong. In addition, he also delivers lectures to under graduates and MBA students in China, including Yunnan University, The Polytechnic University of Hong Kong and The Open University of Hong Kong.
